The Prodigal Wogger

Ok, I'm back after nearly a month off from wogging.

NEVER...I repeat....NEVER take WEEKS/MONTHS off from working out. It's so hard to start back up. I went back to the gym last week for the first time and I was in agony for a few days after. I just made it back today! I have restarted Couch to 5K and I'm sad to say I had to go all the way back to Week 2!! I'm working on wogging a bit faster during the jogging intervals this go 'round. Today felt much better than last week. I'm hoping that my new orthotics in my shoes will help with some of the pain I experienced before. Today my toes did NOT go numb at all, so I think that's progress.

The worst news of all is that I gained 10lbs over the summer....UGH!!!! Most of my clothes are TIGHT right now and it feels miserable. I'm not sure I'm ready to dive back into Weight Watchers with both feet just yet but I'm trying to make some changes. The biggest being to cut back on the Dr.Pepper! I have a reoccuring love affair with "The Dr." I have been drinking WAYYYYYY too much soda this summer. I'm limiting myself to one can per day. I have tried giving it up completely in the past but I will go a few months cold turkey and then I start back up. I'm going to try the "all things in moderation" thing to see if it works better for me. I really wish I liked coffee....

So...I'm back to wogging....and hopefully much better about blogging....
